The basic workings of our chemistry tutoring service is described below:
Step 1. Become a member
There is no membership fee. Becoming a member simply provides us with the basic
information that we will need to match you with the best possible tutor for you.
Once you are a member, you will have access to the Member's Services area of our
web site where you can request a tutoring session.

Step 2. Request a Tutoring Session
As a member, you'll be able to request tutoring as you need it, or set up a regular
tutoring schedule, whichever works better for you.
When you request a tutoring session you can tell us your preferences about what
kind of session you'd like (individual or small group); how long (1,2, or 3 hour),
what frequency (one time only, weekly, several times per week), and other information
we need to schedule the first session. If you have had a tutoring session with us before,
you can even specify if you want to change tutors. Also, if you and your friends
wish to be tutored together, that can be arranged.
Step 3. Receive a Tutoring Proposal
When we receive your request for a tutoring session we will immediately start trying
to match you with a tutor, a location, and other students (if you have requested
a group session). Within 24 hours of your request we will send you a tutoring proposal
or, if we're having difficulty matching your request, a note explaining the difficulty.
When you receive your tutoring proposal it will have a specific time for the tutoring
session, a specific assigned tutor, and a price that you will pay for the service.
Step 4. Accept the proposal
If the information in the Tutoring Proposal meets with your approval, accept the
proposal by return e-mail or on our web site.
Step 5. Meet with your tutor
This is why we're here! Spend some quality time working through your chemistry challenges with
a professional chemistry educator dedicated to helping you succeed. Our tutor will meet you at a
mutually convenient location and work with you to master the material. At the end of the session,
simply pay the tutor for our service (we accept cash or check). Please see our

Quit at any time
You be the judge of how helpful our tutoring sessions are. If they help you, keep coming back.
If not, quit. There is no commitment on your part beyond the next session.
